New Premium Luxury Pin Buckles – I am very excited to introduce our new Luxury German-milled ‘D9‘ logo solid stainless Steel Pin buckles that are exclusively designed to our specifications! We commission these from Craiss Metallmanufaktur GmbH, a family-owned firm located in the small town of Wurmburg German. Nestled in the beautiful black forest region of Germany about 20km North-west of Stuttgart, Craiss I am told is the very last watch buckle/claps manufacturer in Germany. Needless to say, their work is exceptional. These buckles are much more substantial than the more common run-of-the-mill buckles that are available in this 18 and 20mm size and given their size, have a surprising amount of heft – just holding them in the palm of the hand, one can feel the luxury of quality craftsmanship. Instead of laser etching, we have gone to the next step and had these buckles engraved with our ‘D9‘ logo, which also offers a more subtle, premium look of a luxury product. One of my personal design criteria was to have solid milled tangs/pins for these instead of the more commonly wrapped wire pins. Taken together, these buckles are a massive step up of our buckle offerings and we are super pleased with how they have turned out!
