The Thick Curved Lug System (TCLS) is engineered to provide a seamless connection between the watch strap and the case, ensuring a perfect fit that enhances both comfort and style. The Fully Integrated Fit (FIF) upgrade takes the TCLS concept to the next level by offering a strap that is fully molded to the exact contours of the watch case. With the addition of notching to the full width of the lugs, this upgrade ensures that the strap perfectly aligns with the watch case, extending from edge to edge with precision. This meticulous attention to detail eliminates any visible gaps between the strap and the case, creating a unified and sleek appearance that highlights the watch’s design. The Measurements that I May Need the Customer to Provide:

Each strap made with our ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS) and Fully Integrated Fit’ (FIF) are custom made by myself in our Munich workshop to fit the exact model watch for which the strap is intended and so if I have no experience with your model watch (and assuming I don’t have your watch in hand) I will request that you provide a couple of measurments from your watch.  To take these measurments with the accuracy will require removal of the strap/bracelet and just the installation of the spring bar or lug bar alone.  In addition to the details below, for the ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS), you might also watch this video

For the ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS):

  1. The Diameter of the watch case between the lugs (if this diameter is clearly different that the stated diameter of the manufature specifications watch case (a good example is the 40mm Rolex Explorer below which have a diameter of about 38mm between the lugs):

    The Rolex Explorer as with many Oyster case Rolex watches features a diameter between the lugs (in Red) which is a couple of millimeters LESS that the stated case diameter of the watch.

Additionally – For the Fully Integrated Fit’ (FIF):

3. The Total length of the lugs – the distance from the corner where the TOP of the lug joins the watch case to the bottom tip of the lugs:
