The Rolex Sky-Dweller Ref. 336934 (view watch here) is an icon of sophisticated travel timekeeping. Featuring dual time zones and an annual calendar, this stainless steel and white gold timepiece combines technical mastery with timeless style. Peter’s model, with its bold design and understated white gold fluted bezel with its beautiful Mint Green dial, called for a strap that could stand up to its luxury and versatility—something unique, integrated, and utterly refined.
‘Minty Green’ on Grigio-Verde Nile Crocodile from Our France Croco Collection
The star of this project is our Grigio-Verde Nile Crocodile leather, part of our prestigious France Croco Collection. France Croco, a tannery located in the Loire Valley, is globally renowned for its exceptional exotic leathers. Their commitment to sustainability, traditional tanning methods, and unmatched finishing ensures each hide offers depth, durability, and an unmistakable luxury feel. This particular “Minty Green” shade plays beautifully against the Sky-Dweller’s classic dial and steel/white gold case, adding a distinctive yet tasteful pop of color.
Signature Dangerous9straps Features: Padding, TCLS & Rolex Clasp Integration
Like all of our bespoke straps, Peter’s Sky-Dweller strap was designed with meticulous attention to detail. The strap features substantial padding at the lugs, giving it a bold, structured profile perfectly suited to the Sky-Dweller’s larger case size. We also incorporated our proprietary Thick Curved Lug System (TCLS)—a hallmark of Dangerous9straps—ensuring an integrated fit between the lugs for a seamless, OEM-level aesthetic. This strap is further customized to fit the original Rolex bracelet clasp, retaining the Easy-Link adjustment system for on-the-fly comfort.
Hand Saddle Stitching in Metallic Silver
To complement the cool tones of the “Minty Green” crocodile leather and the Sky-Dweller’s steel and white gold construction, the strap was hand saddle stitched with our metallic Silver thread. This subtle metallic glint adds a sophisticated touch and reinforces the artisanal quality of the build.
Lined with Custom-Dyed “Minty” Green Nappa Kangaroo Leather
On the lining side, we chose our Nappa-finished Kangaroo leather, custom-dyed to match the “Minty” green theme. This ultra-soft yet durable leather ensures superior comfort on the wrist.
