For Tom’s SBGE305, we created a fully bespoke strap from our Dangerous9straps Safari Collection—a Jurassic Black African Goat leather Rally strap designed specifically to echo the watch’s rich tones while delivering comfort, durability, and a truly integrated fit.
Jurassic Black African Goat Leather – Rugged Elegance
The foundation of this strap is Jurassic Black African Goat leather, chosen for its distinctive grain, durability, and refined character. African goat leather has long been prized by leather artisans for its balance of strength, flexibility, and luxurious texture, making it ideal for a strap designed for daily wear.
The deep black surface provides a bold contrast against the SBGE305’s burgundy dial while allowing the finer details of the strap to take center stage.
Crafted with Leather from Tusting & Burnett (1938) Ltd.
The leather used in this strap comes from Tusting & Burnett (1938) Ltd., a respected British tannery established in 1938. Known for producing high-quality specialty leathers, Tusting & Burnett have built a reputation among luxury leather craftsmen for their consistent tanning processes, exceptional finishing standards, and richly textured hides.
Their materials are used in fine leather goods across the world, and the Jurassic African Goat used in this Safari Collection strap reflects that heritage perfectly—supple, durable, and visually striking.
Rally Design with a Burgundy Heart
While the exterior presents a stealthy black aesthetic, the true highlight of this strap lies in its multiple small Rally holes design.
Each perforation reveals a deep burgundy red Kidskin leather backing, creating a subtle yet striking visual connection to the SBGE305’s dial. This layered construction not only enhances the strap’s appearance but also subtly speaks to the strap’s bespoke design.
The interior lining features Red Wine Alcantara luxury suede, a premium material known for its softness, durability, and moisture resistance. The result is a strap that feels as refined as it looks.

By incorporating strategic padding at the lugs and a precisely curved profile, TCLS allows the strap to flow seamlessly between the lugs, creating a more integrated appearance and improving comfort on the wrist.
