Rally strap for Rolex Datejust Ref.126300:<\/h2>\n

Rally strap for Rolex Datejust Ref.126300 – Hello watch lovers, today I am sharing a few photos of a watch strap that I’ve just completed for my good customer’s Rolex Datejust 41 Ref. 126300<\/a> with black sunburst dial.\u00a0 This watch has an unfortunate notch cut into the watch case between the lugs and spring bars set very close to the watch case, which makes straight-end watch straps very difficult for this watch because the sharp edge of the notch tends to damage straight-end straps.\u00a0 Solution – Building the strap with curved ends and spring bars essentially solves this issue (although, I still recommend adding a small piece of cello tape in that mean edge between the lugs to prevent any possibility of heartache).\u00a0 My local customer was kind enough to leave his watch at the workshop while I made sure that the strap fit was just right.<\/p>\n

\"RallyDuring this time I was able to try out some custom fitments and discovered that our Integrated fit ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS) is possible for this watch with the simple solution of using curved spring bars instead of straight ones (problem solved again – more on this in an upcoming post).<\/p>\n

In the meantime here are some great photos.\u00a0 This strap was made from our Safari Tan African Goat leather, which while being extremely soft and supple, offers remarkable durability and will patina nice with years of wear.\u00a0 The addition of rally holes<\/a> (3 large descending) and of course the aforementioned curved lugs and spring bars, this strap makes this semi-dress watch extremely sporty.\u00a0 This strap also features padding at the lugs and our super soft and extremely durable (with great moisture control) Motorcycle black Kangaroo Gloving leather lining.<\/p>\n
