Thread Options for Your Custom Strap – If we are known for one thing at Dangerous9straps it’s our massive selection of material options from which to build your custom watch straps.\u00a0 So, why would our thread color options be any different?\u00a0 our selection includes a huge selection of colors as well as thread thicknesses so that well can build your ideal custom strap.\u00a0 Of course, I am happy to consult with you to pick just the right thread color and thickness of your strap design and if you would like a color which you do not see here, I am happy to either purchase it for you or even to custom dye thread to your color requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n

French Milled Linen thread:<\/h2>\n

Our French Milled threads\u00a0 – Fil Au Chinois Cable\u2019 Linen Thread is perhaps the most famous threads in the world and is really the finest available linen and the choice for all premium handmade leather goods. \u00a0Manufacturers such as Hermes use these threads on their hand stitch bags, so you know it\u2019s the very best you can buy. \u00a0And while I could by nylon thread for a very small fraction of the price, this would not be in keeping with Dangerous9<\/span>straps<\/strong> ethos of making straps using only the very best materials available.<\/p>\n

Fine Gauge No. 632 French Milled Threads:<\/h2>\n

My preference is for their finer gauge thread No. 632 \u2013 .51mm thickness (shown here) for most of our straps, especially Exotic leather straps, although on thicker more rugged straps such and Ammo leather or straps featuring Tribal stitching, \u00a0I recommend heavy gauge No. 332 or our medium gauge No. 432, 4 ply Irish Waxed Linen or German mill Linen threads.<\/p>\n
