Custom Straps for Rolex Deepsea:<\/h2>\n

Custom Straps for Rolex Deepsea have become a great part of Dangerous9straps identity over the years.\u00a0 The Rolex<\/span>\u00a0Deepsea<\/span><\/a><\/strong> watches look particularly great with our integrated strap fitment, as the gap between the standard straight end strap and the watch case is quite large on the Rolex SDDS<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 I currently offer two options with an integrated fit, our ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS)<\/strong>, which provides an integrated strap fit between the lugs and our ‘Fully Integrated Fit’ (FIF)<\/strong>, which includes and TCLS and also is notched at the lugs bringing the strap width to 26.5mm at the lugs and then tapering back to your buckle of choice. This strap design was inspired by the Rubber B watch straps for Rolex<\/span> Deep Sea and is very challenging to accomplish in leather.\u00a0 Below is a photo album of some of the many custom straps that I have made for the Deep Sea.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While I can and have built straps for the Rolex Deep Sea to fit the OEM Bracelet Glide-Lock clasp, I find that straps are built with our ‘Fully Integrated Fit’ (FIF) to hug the wrist nicely and that tapering the strap back to a nice hefty 24mm buckle still provide some elegance on the wrist while at the same time balancing the weight<\/span>\u00a0of the watch\u00a0head<\/span> securely<\/div>\n

Please Note:<\/strong> When ordering a strap for your Rolex Sea-Dweller Deep Sea, it is important that you provide the reference number for your watch as the older Deep Sea models (Ref 116660) have 21mm lug widths, while the newer models (Ref. 126660) have 22mm lug widths.<\/div>\n

Another option for achieving the security of fit to the wrist is to build the strap with a bund underlayment, however, please be aware that this will add an additional 2-3mm of height to an already very tall watch head:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
